AVOID HUMANS APP
Client: GSD&M
Project: SXSW App
Agency: GSD&M
The Project Review: The Avoid Humans app was developed to address the overcrowding issue in Austin, Texas, during the South By Southwest festival. The app functioned as an anti-Foursquare, utilizing data from Foursquare and Instagram check-ins to identify and recommend nearby establishments with the least amount of people. By providing festivalgoers with information on less crowded venues, the app aimed to enhance the enjoyment of restaurants and bars during the bustling festival period.
