TIJUANA FLATS BRAND WORK

Client: Tijuana Flats Burrito Co.
Project: Brand Work
Agency: Push.

The Project Review:
Tijuana Flats, a multi-regional fast-casual Tex-Mex restaurant chain, sought to establish a strong brand platform and identity to support its expansion plans. With 16 stores in Florida in 2004, Tijuana Flats aimed to elevate its concept's strength, maintain consistency across locations, and position itself for franchising opportunities. The objective was to create a fast-casual restaurant experience that felt unique and homegrown, setting Tijuana Flats apart from mainstream chains. The marketing approach focused on being honest, approachable, and engaging with customers and prospects, utilizing creative campaigns that elicited emotions and showcased the restaurant as anything but ordinary. Over the course of the partnership, Tijuana Flats expanded to 73 locations, earning numerous industry awards for its campaign creativity.
